Customers who find you on CustomMade can contact you one of two ways:
Listing Inquiry
When a customer views one of your items, he or she can contact you to create a customized version of that item. If you've enabled the "Quick Order" option for a listing, the customer can order the item as shown, or with limited customizations.
General Inquiry
If the customer is viewing your profile, there's an option to contact you with a general inquiry.
In either case, you'll find messages in your inbox. You'll also get notified by email. You can reply simply by responding to the email if you'd rather not do so via your CustomMade inbox. This is the case for all messages you exchange with the customer throughout the process.
Regardless of how a customer contacts you we ask that you respond within 24 hours. If you're not able to do that, the customer will receive an email asking if he or she would like to hear from other makers. Learn more about our 24 hour exclusivity period here.
